A US delegation is set to visit Dhaka on September 14 and 15 to begin economic discussions with Bangladesh's interim government. The United States aims to assist Bangladesh in strengthening its economy, according to a report by the Financial Times. This marks the first high-level engagement between the two nations since Sheikh Hasina's departure following the mass student uprising on August 5. The talks will involve key officials from the US Treasury, State Department, USAID, and the US Trade Representative's office. Interim government leader Muhammad Yunus is also expected to join these discussions, focusing on enhancing economic cooperation.
