Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Finance and Trade Adviser, has been engaging in strategic discussions with key international development agencies following the formation of the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus. During one-on-one meetings with organizations like the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), Islamic Development Bank (ISDB), and USAID, Dr. Ahmed received assurances of substantial financial aid.
In addition to these engagements, diplomats from major countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, India, and China have also expressed support. These combined efforts are likely to result in foreign aid totaling approximately $1.2 billion.
