Bangladeshi Students Clinch "Best New Entrant" Award at Global Aircraft Design Contest

A team of eight students from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU) has proudly won the "Best New Entrant" award at the 41st Annual Student Design Competition, hosted by the Vertical Flight Society (VFS) in the United States. The students designed an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) named Airborne Phoenix, a coaxial rotorcraft with an aerodynamically efficient fuselage, a payload bay, and a NO Tail Rotor (NOTAR) system for enhanced directional control and stability. This innovative design showcases the team's advanced engineering skills and creativity.
