Industry insiders say the cat food market in the country has grown

Industry insiders say the cat food market in the country has grown to around Tk 5 billion. Of this, domestic brands make up roughly Tk 1 billion, while the remaining Tk 4 billion worth of cat food is imported from abroad to meet rising demand.
