Bangladesh Sees Growing Investment in Denim as Expo Kicks Off in Dhaka

At the ongoing two-day Bangladesh Denim Expo in Dhaka, 58 companies from countries including China and Bangladesh are displaying a variety of denim fabrics—many made with eco-friendly materials. Some are showcasing uniquely washed denim garments, while others are presenting high-tech innovations like laser machines, chemicals, and other textile equipment.
Despite heavy rain on Monday morning, which followed days of intense heat, the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) buzzed with activity as the event opened. Visitor numbers picked up steadily after noon, as industry professionals and fashion enthusiasts arrived to explore the latest trends and technologies in denim.
