Bangladesh’s July Export Earnings Hit $4.78 Billion, Marking Strong 25% Growth
WELL WORKBangladesh earned $4.78 billion from exports in July, the first month of the 2025-26 fiscal year, showing a sharp rise of nearly 25 percent compared to the same time last year. The boost came mainly from the ready-made garment sector, which continues to be the biggest driver of export growth.
Fresh figures from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) released on Monday show exports in July 2025 stood at $4.78 billion, up from $3.81 billion in July 2024. In the last fiscal year (2024-25), Bangladesh shipped goods worth $48.28 billion, higher than $44.47 billion in the year before.
