Helen Keller International and MetLife Foundation Launch Program to Uplift 500 Families in Sunamganj
WELL WORKHelen Keller International, in partnership with the MetLife Foundation, has introduced a new program aimed at reducing poverty for 500 families in Sunamganj, a haor area in Sylhet. The initiative will provide training and support to help families improve their income and build a more secure future.
As part of the project, families will receive hands-on training in livestock and poultry rearing, fish farming, sewing, vegetable cultivation, small business management, and fishing with boats and nets. These opportunities are designed to help families generate steady income and move toward long-term self-reliance.
