Kihak Sang, Chairman of the globally recognized Korean company Youngwon Corporation, has encouraged foreign investors to explore opportunities in Bangladesh. He acknowledged that while past governments have made efforts to attract foreign direct investment (FDI), the current interim government is approaching the task with stronger focus and effectiveness. According to him, this administration is committed to providing full support and benefits to investors—making now a great time to consider Bangladesh as a prime investment destination.
Sang shared these thoughts with a group of 60 investors and representatives from countries including China, India, the Netherlands, and Australia. They had gathered at the Korean Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) in Anwara, Chittagong, as part of a four-day investment conference aimed at showcasing Bangladesh’s potential.
